J. Williams Beal (1855-1919) was an architect in Boston, Massachusetts, in the later 19th-century.〔Boston almanac. 1884, 1887, 1891, 1894〕 He trained at MIT and then worked for McKim, Mead & White before opening his own business.〔(Technology Review ), Volume 21, 1919〕 His successors, J.
